The Progress Tree is a product specifically developed in response to RCT's desire to better understand the impact of social investment and social inclusion activities. The spin-off benefits from developing the progress tree and its associated tracker databases have been considerable including:

• Increasing staff awareness of the priorities of trainees;

• The development of a stakeholder informed training programme;

• Improvement in the quality of funding applications and partnerships.
