Volunteering & Placement

As part of the RCT Homes Group, GrEW can offer a diverse range of opportunities to pupils who are looking to gain their first experience of the workplace. We work closely with schools across the borough and provide a tailored experience for pupils, who will be in engaged in meaningful work throughout the duration of their placement.

 

For pupils who are interested in more ‘hands on’ work, we can offer opportunities in grounds maintenance, garden maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, building maintenance, void clearance and cleaning. We also offer an extensive range of office based placements including finance, IT, housing and HR.

 

We can also offer work experience tasters to college students who require a longer term placement to meet the needs of their chosen qualification. Regular monitoring and feedback can also be given to ensure any required evidence based material is provided.
