Financial Accountant

£40-45K p.a.

RCT Homes is recruiting a motivated and committed finance professional for a key role within the Finance Department. It is an exciting time to be joining the Group as we transition to a new reporting framework under FRS102, and we embark on new build development for the first time.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for providing an effective and timely financial reporting service, ensuring compliance with the requirements of key internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will cover VAT, Group tax planning and Treasury management.

 

The successful candidate must have a strong financial accounting background and an up to date working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. It is essential that you are a qualified CCAB Accountant, preferably with experience of completing tax returns. You must be able to plan and prioritise your workload and work to tight deadlines. You will have knowledge of developing internal financial controls and procedures and the ability to communicate effectively. You will be highly IT literate, have a strong focus on attention to detail along with being extremely organised.  Experience of financial planning and use of integrated financial management systems is also desirable.
