School Services
Young Wales is an exciting, innovative, work based learning provision, which works hard to engage young people ages 14 - 16 years in a commercial environment. Young Wales is working with Agored Cymru to deliver a variety of specialist subject areas for our learners to engage in.
We have developed specific training modules that bring together commercial work whilst working towards gaining a recognised qualification. These training modules are part of the Welsh Government Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). Students are given the opportunity to work in small groups and as individuals; they work closely with the Young Wales teachers and clients. Emphasis is placed on improving confidence in their ability and increasing self-esteem through individual learning, teamwork and work experience.
Our modern educational facilities engage our students and complement our strong links within the media industry. Combined with our innovative teaching methods we produce award-winning results. We are fast becoming the third sectors creative industry provider of choice with particularly strong links with the social housing sector.
