Creative Industry

The creative industry has become increasingly important to economic development and sustainable regeneration. Human creativity is the ultimate economic resource. Culture, creativity, knowledge and innovation will increasingly drive the economy of the 21st century.

Technology has an increasingly important role to play in the production, distribution and consumption of creative goods and services. Structured and informed investment in the creative economy over the short, medium and long term will accelerate the process necessary for Wales to regain ground lost over decades of decline and under-investment.
